Warranty:
WHAT TO DO IF I HAVE A WARRANTY ISSUE ON MY NEW VEHICLE?
In the event that a warranty issue arises on your vehicle consult the owners manual provided by the (OEM) Original Equipment Manufacturers, both Chassis and Conversion. Remember the Warranties are provided by the original equipment Manufacturers, NOT Gateway Coachworks, so approvals and authorizations must be given by the OEM's. In the event that you can't get an answer from the OEM or don't like the answer you are given, please call us so we can get involved. Remember we can't authorize warranty work, but we can get you answers.
WHERE DO I TAKE MY VEHICLE?
Consult your Warranty Manual. For the Chassis, refer to the Chassis Manual ie. Ford, Chevy, Lincoln, International, Freightliner, etc... For the Conversion, refer to the Manual provided by the conversion company. If you have a question on who to call, please call us and we will assist you. When you take your vehicle to the Warranty Service Center that the conversion manufacturer has recommended. Remind them not to start work until they provided a written estimate and have written approval from the conversion manufacturer. This will make your Warranty experience a smoother one.

DO YOU HAVE ANY SERVICE TIPS FOR MY VEHICLE?

Oil Change

For your gas or diesel engine use a good grade of oil that is either Synthetic or Synthetic Blend, not a basic cheap oil. Refer to the manufacturers owners manual and use the specific weights recommended by them.

Tire pressure

Regularly check tire pressure. Refer to owners manual for recommended tire pressure. Under inflated tires can dramatically affect gas mileage and vehicle performance. Under inflated tires on buses and limousines can be extremely dangerous because of the size of the vehicle and added weight.

Abnormal noises

Advise drivers to report any unusual noises, vibrations or the vehicle pulling in one direction. Remember immediate action can potentially save you costly repairs and vehicle down time.

Vehicle walk around

Before every run the driver should perform his own vehicle mini inspection looking at tire tread, possible tire damage, operation of front and rear air conditioning systems as well as all of the rear passenger functions. Inspection before the run can help head off embarrassing vehicle deficiencies and remember everyone has something to loose, company reputation and the driver's tip.

Regularly check lights

Not only is safety an important factor, but you have to admit that it is pretty embarrassing when your Limousine or Bus gets pulled over for a light being out. It really makes customer wonder about your overall maintenance plan.
