February 15th, 2011 (Ft. Myers, FL) – Gateway Coachworks today officially announced the launch of their new website, http://www.gatewaycoachworks.com.  The site features a searchable inventory of new and used buses, limousines and professional vehicles. The goal of the site is to provide resources to help those considering purchasing a professional vehicle make an informed buying decision.

Rick Fugitt, owner of Gateway Coachworks had this to say, “Our new site allows us to move beyond the confines of our brick and mortar dealership in Florida and service the entire US.  The Internet allows people to easily source the vehicles they desire, and we want to make sure we give people an opportunity to see how price competitive we are and how we can help them get the vehicle they need no matter where they need it.”

On top of a searchable inventory of vehicles, the site aims to become a resource for those needing general information about the industry or specific vehicle makes and models.  It includes information on some of the newest vehicles including Hybrid buses and alternative fuel vehicles.  Model information, pictures, floor plans and more can be found categorized into three main sections: Limousines, Buses and Specialty Vehicles.

In addition to the inventory of new and used vehicles that Gateway carries, a Sell On Consignment feature is offered that allows current owners of professional vehicles to list them for free on the website.  This service is provided to connect buyers and sellers, and also to allow Gateway to tap into its vast network of buyers to potentially connect a current owner with someone interested in their vehicle.

“The Sell On Consignment service is something that I wanted included from the beginning. Sure, it may have cost us a bit to build it, but it is a feature that the industry needs.  Now, we can connect buyers and sellers virtually through our website and hopefully assist them when they need to replace that vehicle with a new one.  In many cases, I have a buyer to connect them with and it is just a matter of finding the vehicle.  We are no longer restricted to our Florida location.” said Fugitt.
